What I Do
Classes, Mentoring, Coaching, and Editorial Services
Weekly online workshops designed to provide support, consistency, and community so that you can finish your project.
One-on-one editorial consultations on everything from flash pieces to full-length manuscripts. Consultations include a structural edit, line edits (by request), an editorial letter, and a meeting to discuss it all. You leave with an understanding of exactly where to go next with your project.
Whether applying to MFA programs, querying agents, submitting short stories, or struggling to finish anything, I will meet with you to create a schedule, accountability, feedback, and provide a concrete path forward for both you and your writing.
This workshop was a lifeline for my writing—giving it time and space to breathe and develop. Ted put together such a thoughtful, friendly, generous, smart-reading group, and the longer class helped us develop real knowledge of each other, each other's work, and how we as a group workshop together. Ted is a gifted teacher; he understands how to provide concrete, specific, directional feedback that feels possible to implement, and how to think through pieces with curiosity and joy for the next revision.
